Storz & Bickel Mighty vaporizer is one of the latest news from this company for 2015, considered by all users as the most professional tool to vaporize your loved flowers and extractions.
Unfortunately nowadays many companies whant to take proffit from comertial advantages of certain products trying to copy them for a lower price, confusing users, and destroying the high quality label of some manufacturers.
Referring to this subject, we recieved an email from Storz And Bickel that we would like to share so we try to prevent against the appearance of a malfunctioning fake unit from the Mighty portable vaporizer, with lower quality. This email is sent by one of the co-owners of Storz And Bickel directly so we guess it's important enough to forward you the notice.
This is the email:
Dear Retailer,
We would like to make you aware of fraudulent counterfeits of our portable MIGHTY Vaporizer. Your attention to avoid these fakes and to update Storz & Bickel is greatly appreciated.
There are a few details to keep in mind:
The easiest way to spot a fake is the 3D MIGHTY sticker on the top of the Cooling Unit. The counterfeit has a simple black sticker with no 3D effect.
The fake mighty is very low quality. The detailed inspection shows:
Packaging: box printed on glossy paper with a pallid blue; no Serial Number sticker on box; photo on box is S&B copyright original MIGHTY showing 185°C. Inside box there is no Filling Tool, only two magnetic grinders in different colors; packaging is foam material and not Styrofoam like S&B original MIGHTY.
· External: Housing visually similar to S&B device, but plastic is cheap and rapidly deforms; no Serial Number sticker on the Housing;
The material around the Filling Chamber is reinforced with the original MIGHTY, not so with the fake:
The plastic around the Filling Chamber is cloudy/transparent compared to solid grey on MIGHTY; only works in °F, no °C function; vibrates weak and differently.
· Internal: no temperature overload fuse; no temperature sensor to monitor battery temperature; all important connections are soldered and not connected.
· Performance: limited to 360° F at the highest setting of 410°F; the Cooling Unit leaks side air into the air stream; charge time is extremely long, smells of burning plastic.
Distributors of counterfeit product not only harm the customer, but damage the industry as a whole. The MIGHTY & CRAFTY are the result of three years of engineering and development. It is shameful to see imposters pretend to make the best vaporizers on the market. This is not only completely illegal, it is also dishonorable.
Storz & Bickel is committed to take legal action against every distribution point of counterfeit product. Violators of protected intellectual property will incur considerable legal expenses. Product liability is a high risk due to poor construction. Litigation and prosecution may result in criminal or civil penalties for violators.
