After some tests, Lumatek concludes that the minimum distance between Zeus PRO LED and plants should be 50cm.

Even the recommended minimum distance between Zeus Pro and plants is 50 cm, we can also set a higher distance (specially during first stages of vegetative stage, when plants do not need too much intensity).

If your plants are in vegetative stage we aim you to set Zeus Pro 80-100 cm over plant's canopy.

*Another option is to dim the power to 50% and place the light 50 cm over plants.

Recommended distance between Zeus Pro and plants in bloom stage

If your plants are in flowering stage the minimum recommended distance is 50 cm. Even though our recommendation is to set it higher during the first weeks to 12/12 to avoid any possible burn if plants grow closer. Our tip is to set it to 60-70 cm over plant's canopy

Can I upgrade my Lumatek Zeus Pro to a Zeus Pro 2.9 without buying a new fixture?

For the first time ever, the answer is YES. Lumatek is known for giving a great sale and customer service, and this is another point where they are showing that customers are first in line. It's true that you need to invest a little to upgrade your fixture but as a Zeus Pro owner you must know that it is possible to transform your Zeus Pro in a brand new Zeus Pro 600w 2.9.

Lumatek recommends replacing all 6 100w LED bars from Zeus Pro 600w for the new 100w LED bars of Zeus Pro 2.9. If you budget can't afford the 6 bars, Lumatek aims you to replace a minimum of 3 bars to avoid input current disparities.

Lumatek Zeus Pro final reviews and price

Zeus Pro is the most professional LED manufactured by Lumatek, which should compete with Fluence and Gavita for the title of the best led growlight for cannabis growing.

Lumatek has introduced some sale arguments that we consider interesting, like the fact it comes disassembled (saving space, what improves logistics and reduces final price of the product) being a much thought product to be easily assembled.

Another detail to notice is the quality of the compounds used, as Osram leds are the best in market nowadays. Unfortunately we can not state the same about LUMLED, even though work properly, because they could be better.

We consider interesting that Lumatek includes a manual dimer with each light (what any other manufacturer does). In large-scale growrooms where we pretend to control many lights it will be necesary to acquire Lumatek's Controller, but if we will only use one light it is way cheaper to use the included manual dimer (and safe some euros from the Automatic Controller).

Its price is clearly cheaper than any of the other two led existing competitors, and that gives Zeus Pro the best quality-price ratio from three.

As a negative point we should talk about the ingenious light bar connections which play against reliability, as those are weak points in electric terms (time will tell if they test them enough, or hace to improve these aspects).
