French Macaron is an indica strain with heavy yields and quick flowering period, that won the first prize indica at Expo Grow 2017, thanks to the quality of its flowers and its unbeatable taste. For the breeding project concluding on French Macaron, TH Seeds team of breeders wanted to use two strains with a clear American style, like French Cookies and Gelato 33. From a crossing with such parentals, it is clear that only a winner could came out, and that was the case when French Macaron won the first prize at Expo Grow Irun 2017 in Indica category.
Taking the French Cookies (an improved work of Girl Scout Cookies) that guarantees good yields and superior quality, it was crossed with a selected strain of Gelato #33 (also a known individual from Cookie Fam), deriving in a new strain with best characteristics from both parentals.
If French Cookies sourced growers with top quality flowers and good yields, this French Macaron is not less, as its calix are covered with large amounts of resin, with a dark purple background, delivering a gassy aroma, musky and intense creamy aroma, what together makes a sweet and creamy dessert.
Growing French Macaron you'll notice an indica strain that grows vigorous, that precises good airflow to avoid mold appearance due its dense flowers (specially along last stages of bloom). This is a medium-sized strain that does good under all types of growing techniques. If we pretend the best results, it is recommended to top her once, or even two-three times (specially when growing her outdoors) as it will help spreading its yields along more colas (instead of just one main huge cola) and also will prevent from mold.
